This policy is part of the Agreement between you and Tiger Media. It says what you may not do with tigerAPI. tigerAPI is an unofficial service with no affiliation to WhatsApp or Meta, and WhatsApp can ban any number at any time. Staying inside this policy lowers that risk and protects other customers, whose numbers share our infrastructure and reputation.
1. Messages must be wanted
You may message only people who have a real relationship with you and who agreed, or can lawfully be expected, to hear from you. You must be able to show consent when we or an authority ask.
You must not use the Service for:
- spam or bulk unsolicited messaging, including cold promotional blasts, purchased or scraped lists, chain messages and message volumes that look like campaigns to people who did not ask for them;
- sending to people who asked you to stop, or who blocked you or reported you;
- harvesting or testing phone numbers at scale (for example running number-existence checks across lists you have no relationship with);
- creating many accounts or numbers to get around limits, trial rules or a suspension.
Marketing messages must also follow the law of the recipient's country, including section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) and the equivalent rules elsewhere. Every marketing message needs a working way to opt out, and you must honor it.
2. Content you must not send
- Anything illegal where you or the recipient are, or that helps commit a crime.
- Fraud, phishing, scams, fake giveaways, pyramid or illegal investment schemes, and attempts to get passwords, codes or payment details by deceit.
- Impersonation of a person, bank, authority or brand.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, incitement, and unlawful intimidation.
- Sexual content involving minors in any form, or any content that exploits or endangers children. We report these to the authorities.
- Malware, links to malware, and content designed to damage a device or account.
- Adult content sent to people who did not ask for it, and illegal weapons, drugs or other restricted goods.
- Personal data of others that you have no right to send.
3. Use of the platform
You must not:
- link a number that you do not own or operate with its holder's knowledge, or use a number taken from another person;
- share, sell or publish your API tokens, or let others use your instance outside your own business;
- give third parties access to your instances as a service, or resell the Service, other than as agency use for your own clients' numbers on a paid plan (Terms of Service 6.6). You answer for your clients' compliance with this policy and with anti-spam law (Terms of Service 6.7);
- present tigerAPI under your own product name, or use the tigerAPI name or brand as your own, without our written permission (this applies to agency use too);
- try to bypass or disable rate limits, queues, trial caps, flags or suspensions, or probe the Service for weaknesses without our written permission;
- overload the Service, or use it for load or stress testing, scraping or any use that harms other customers;
- use it for emergency, safety-critical or life-critical communication;
- use it in a way that breaks WhatsApp's terms in a manner that endangers other customers (for example automating a number that has been banned for abuse).
4. Our limits and automatic protections
We apply limits (such as message pacing, daily caps on new contacts and group changes, and lower trial limits) and automatic checks (such as detecting bulk-send patterns). If an instance trips a check we may flag it, which blocks sending until an operator reviews it. These measures are part of keeping the Service usable for everyone; they are not a promise that your number is safe.
5. Enforcement
If we believe you broke this policy, or we receive a credible complaint, we may, without notice and in our judgment:
1. warn you or ask for information, for example proof of consent; 2. limit or flag an instance, or reduce its sending; 3. suspend an instance or your whole account; 4. terminate the account without a refund of fees already paid (Refund Policy), and delete the data as the Privacy Policy provides; 5. report to authorities, to WhatsApp or Meta, and to affected people where the law requires or allows it.
Serious cases (child safety, fraud, threats, large-scale spam) can be suspended at once. We keep a record of operator actions. You can reply to the suspension notice with your explanation, and an operator will look at it; we decide whether to restore access.
6. Reporting abuse
If you received unwanted or harmful messages sent through tigerAPI, or you see other abuse, write to info@tigerchat.co.il and include the sender's number if you have it, the time, and a short description or screenshot. Do not send us anything unlawful. We review reports, may contact the customer, and may suspend them. We may not be able to tell you the outcome. To stop messages from a number, you can also block and report it in WhatsApp.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as described in the Terms of Service. Contact: Tiger Media, Ariel Sharon St 4, Migdal HaShachar, floor 25, Giv'atayim 5320047, info@tigerchat.co.il.
